Alistair Begg on God's Faithfulness

Dear Friend,

The words to the poem “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” written by Thomas O. Chisholm back in 1923 were so moving that the musician who gave them melody prayed earnestly that he might pen a tune worthy of the lyric. His prayer was answered! Today, “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” is sung in churches around the world and is a hymn you likely know well.

Alistair Begg Discusses the Seasons of Life

Dear Friend,

One of the benefits of living in Cleveland is being able to enjoy the seasons. Some days I feel envious of those who are in short sleeves while I’m adding another layer. Today the ground is blanketed in snow. There is hardly a hint of green and even the birds seem to be singing in a minor key. But beneath the surface there is life, unseen but real and growing. In a matter of a few weeks, it will be apparent as we enjoy the beauty of spring.

Read Alistair Begg's Letter about the New Home for Truth For Life!

Dear Friend,

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever” (Isaiah 40:8).

This passage is carved into the stone at the entry to the building that will become Truth For Life’s new home within the coming weeks. Each day the verse will serve to remind us that it is an enormous privilege to proclaim God’s everlasting truth widely and boldly during our fleeting stay here in a place and in a body that will wither and fade.

Alistair Begg's Letter for the New Year

Dear Friend,

On January 20th, America will inaugurate the 45th President of the United States. By convention, incoming Presidents raise their right hand and place their left on the Bible when they take the oath of office. The oath is often concluded with the words “So help me God,” and as we hear these words spoken by the new President, we’ll affirm that as a nation we were founded, and remain, “one nation, under God.”

Christmas Greetings from Alistair Begg

Dear Friend,

Warmest Christmas Greetings!

Alistair Begg Thanks Listeners For Their Support of Truth For Life

Dear Friend,

In Acts 17, Paul preached Jesus and the resurrection to Epicurean and Stoic philosophers. Their response to all that they heard was, “May we know what this new teaching is that you are presenting? For you bring some strange things to our ears. We wish to know therefore what these things mean.” When Paul explained the Gospel, some heard and mocked, while others listened and believed.
